My approach to therapy

My goal is to incorporate a whole body approach in communities to decrease mental and physical problems. When we treat only part of the body, we get only partial results. I use a variety of therapy modalities: cognitive behavior, mindfulness, solution focused, Gottman method for premarital counseling, DBT, and EMDR for trauma, along with yoga. I have seen remarkable results with teens, young adults, and adults who suffer from trauma, anxiety, addiction, depression, and ADHD.

What you can expect from me

Life can be like the waves in the ocean, smooth and beautiful at times or rough going. Allow me to assist you with a life buoy during the times you feel you are drowning or need a floatation device. We can work together to get you sailing smoothly and enjoying the life you deserve. I work with teens, young couples who are trying to figure life out together, women, and LGBTQ individuals. I specialize in issues that involve trauma, anxiety, depression, & marital counseling for young couples.
