Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and have been practicing since 2008, helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and practical support. I hold an Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, as well as an M.A. in Professional Counseling, and I am committed to creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, marital conflict, family concerns, postpartum challenges, cultural issues, and women’s issues. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, with a focus on helping each person build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, with an emphasis on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that each person’s story is unique, so I tailor treatment to meet the individual needs, strengths, and goals of each client. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and strength-based interventions, I help clients develop practical coping skills, improve communication, increase self-awareness, and build healthier relationships.

What you can expect from me

During our initial meeting, I take the time to learn about each client’s concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for therapy, while also addressing any questions they may have about the counseling process. Together, we begin identifying meaningful goals and developing a plan tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered as they begin their journey toward healing, growth, and positive change.
