Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my goal is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and equipped with effective coping skills to navigate life’s challenges. I value building strong therapeutic relationships while creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients can come as they are.

I have experience working with individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief, family conflict, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, emotion regulation difficulties, and impulse control concerns. As a high school-based clinician, I also have experience helping adolescents navigate school-related stressors, peer conflict, and social-emotional challenges. I work with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of needs and backgrounds.

My professional experience includes working in both outpatient and inpatient treatment settings. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University and my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work. I have also completed certification coursework in addiction studies.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I believe therapy should be collaborative, supportive, and personalized, allowing clients to feel heard while working toward meaningful growth and change.

My clinical work primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I strive to help clients develop practical coping strategies, strengthen emotional awareness, improve communication skills, and build confidence in navigating difficult situations. My approach focuses on empowering clients while recognizing and honoring each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment during their first session. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences at their own pace while beginning to build a strong therapeutic connection.

During the first session, we will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss current challenges and strengths, and identify goals you hope to work toward throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we will begin creating a plan that supports your individual needs and overall wellness goals. Therapy is an opportunity for growth, healing, and transformation, and I am honored to support clients as they work toward becoming healthier, happier, and more empowered versions of themselves.
