Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dana Peeples, LCSW. I’m a compassionate, approachable therapist who believes therapy should be a safe place where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

I have many years of experience working with adults and older adults, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and the emotional changes that can come with aging and major life events.

I believe you don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes, having someone who truly listens and helps you find your way forward is the first step.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being honest and know you are being truly heard. I meet each client where they are and work together with them to identify their goals, understand the challenges they are facing, and develop practical tools for moving forward.

I have a particular passion for working with adults and older adults and supporting clients through anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, relationship concerns, and changes that can affect our sense of purpose and identity. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel supported while gaining insight, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. I will take time to listen to what brought you to therapy, learn about your experiences and current concerns, and understand what you hope to gain from counseling.

You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We will work together to identify your priorities and begin developing realistic goals for therapy. Depending on your needs, we may also begin exploring coping strategies or practical tools that can help you manage what you are experiencing.
