Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and over 14 years of experience supporting individuals through life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. I have a particular interest in working with individuals navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, athletic performance anxiety, OCD, life transitions, and challenges with self-worth. As a former collegiate athlete and coach, I have a special passion for working with college athletes navigating the unique pressures of collegiate athletics, performance anxiety, and the balance between athletic, academic, and personal demands.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I focus on helping individuals stay connected to the present, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, navigate difficult thoughts and emotions, and take intentional steps toward building a meaningful and fulfilling life aligned with their personal values.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and understood as we explore what brings you to therapy, your experiences, and what you hope to gain from the process. We will begin identifying your strengths, values, and goals while discussing how we can work collaboratively to move toward meaningful change. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out; this is simply a place to start, at your own pace, without judgment.
