Great to meet you!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, having difficulty concentrating, or experiencing sleepless nights? You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, mood disorders, and life transitions, helping them regain emotional balance and improve their quality of life.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in psychiatry, primary care, and oncology, I understand how closely physical and emotional health are connected. I believe effective mental health care begins with listening, understanding your unique experiences, and creating a treatment plan that fits your individual needs.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-oriented. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive guidance and practical strategies to help you feel better and function at your best. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in your mental health journey.

I provide culturally sensitive care in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and I look forward to working together toward meaningful, lasting improvements in your well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and focused on your individual needs. With over 8 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in psychiatry, primary care, and oncology, I understand the connection between emotional and physical well-being.

I use evidence-based medication management, supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and solution-focused strategies to help you achieve your mental health goals.

During our sessions, we’ll discuss your symptoms, identify stressors, review how your treatment is working, and explore practical ways to improve your daily life. I’ll explain medication options, potential benefits, and side effects in clear, simple language so you can make informed decisions.

My goal is to create a supportive partnership where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your treatment.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll meet one-on-one for a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation in a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free setting. We’ll begin by discussing what brings you to care, followed by a review of your symptoms, mental health history, medical background, and personal goals. I’ll guide you through the process at a pace that feels comfortable, and you’re welcome to ask questions or share concerns at any time. Together, we’ll explore treatment options, including medication management and supportive counseling, and develop a personalized plan that meets your needs. I understand that starting mental health care can feel overwhelming, so my goal is to help you feel relaxed, heard, and confident about your next steps.
