Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I wanted to actually help people move through hard things, not just talk about them. I spent years working in a group practice setting where I saw a lot of clients navigating insurance, transitions, and the kind of stress that builds up when life stops cooperating. That work shaped how I think about therapy and what it takes to get real traction.

I'm an LPCC in California and I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, depression, and the weight of trying to keep everything together when circumstances have shifted. I work via Telehealth across California.

My approach is collaborative and grounded. I pay attention to what's actually happening in your life right now, and I try to make the work feel relevant to where you are. I'm experienced with insurance and I've worked with a wide range of clients, which means I can usually meet people where they are without a lot of warm-up time.

My approach to therapy

I work from a cognitive behavioral foundation because it's practical and the evidence behind it is strong. I also draw on person-centered and solution-focused approaches depending on what the moment calls for.

What I'm paying attention to is what's actually keeping someone stuck. A lot of the time it's not that people don't understand their problems. It's that the path forward isn't clear yet. That's where I tend to spend most of our time.

I want sessions to feel useful. Not every session will be comfortable, but it should always feel like it's going somewhere.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about understanding where you are and what you're looking for. I'll ask questions, I'll listen, and by the end of it you should have a clear sense of whether I'm the right fit and what working together might look like.

I'm easy to talk to and I don't make a lot of assumptions going in. If you'd like to connect briefly before booking a full session, feel free to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you.
