Danelle German

Danelle German, MSW, LISW, LICDC GAMBp, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a gambling endorsement. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Ohio State University and works with individuals of all ages. Her expertise lies in addressing various trauma, substance use, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring mental health concerns.

Danelle is passionate about strengthening family systems, supporting healthy child development, and helping clients build stability and resilience. She employs evidence-based, trauma-informed care and eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy to achieve these goals. Her ultimate objective is to empower clients and maximize their full potential.

I provide total autonomy and self-determination with my clients. I go at your pace, I build rapport with you so you can have a trusting environment and know that what happens is for you to grow, and flourish. There will be times that will be very tough because if you give me a goal, I will help you reach it. I like use of dialectical behavioral therapy, EMDR, and various CBT approaches to affirm motivate and validate well also offer offering you new tools.

First session is all about building relationships. If you’re a child, we will do some play so we can connect together. If you’re a teen or adult this will be time to just learn what your goals are for treatment. We will work together to understand and make sure we’re both on the same page in order to make goals that are measurable, achievable and realistic for what you desire.
