Great to meet you!
My name is Danelle King, MSW, LCSW, and I am a clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals and families across a wide range of life circumstances and family structures. My work is shaped not only by my professional training, but also by my personal experiences, which allow me to connect with clients in a genuine, compassionate, and practical way.
I have extensive experience working with individuals and families involved in foster care and adoption. My husband and I have six biological children and three adopted children, giving me firsthand insight into the complexities of parenting, attachment, trauma, and family integration. These experiences have deeply informed my understanding of both the challenges and the rewards that come with building and nurturing families.
My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, with a focus on resilience, healing, and strengthening relationships. I strive to meet each person where they are, offering a flexible, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. I believe in walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate their journeys, empowering them to grow and heal at their own pace.
In addition to my clinical work, I provide professional supervision for emerging social workers who are working toward their LCSW licensure. I am passionate about mentoring and supporting new clinicians, offering guidance, ethical oversight, and encouragement as they develop their skills and professional identity.
My strong Christian faith is an important part of who I am and influences my values of compassion, service, and integrity. I honor and respect the diverse beliefs of those I work with, while striving to care for others with grace and humility.
Outside of my professional life, I have a deep love for animals, which reflects my nurturing nature and appreciation for connection in all forms.
