Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dani Jones, a licensed mental health counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe that healing happens in a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship.

My goal is to meet you where you are, help you better understand yourself, and support you in building the tools needed to move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and rooted in creating a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe that each person’s story is unique, so I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs, goals, and pace.

I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Together, we’ll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building practical tools to help you cope with stress, regulate emotions, and improve communication in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive environment where the focus is on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, any challenges you’re facing, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.

I may ask some questions about your background, current symptoms, and patterns you’ve noticed, which helps me better understand how to support you. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you—there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for our work and what meaningful progress looks like for you. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for whether this is a good fit.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
