Great to meet you!

Hello! I am here because I care and I believe in each of our ability to create our best life. I have more than 12 years experience and specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating and body-image, and LGBT-related concerns. I look forward to helping you uncover your strengths and learning new methods of tackling life's obstacles.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is to encourage self-reflection by exploring experiences, beliefs about self and the world, and how these experiences and beliefs are impacting daily emotions. My focus is on healing what is hurting us and replacing patterns that are not serving us. I use many therapeutic modalities including Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Positive Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to discover new dimensions of themselves, to learn the impacts of their life experiences on their thinking patterns and emotions, and to develop new approaches to challenges.
