Great to meet you!

Trauma therapist by trade, artist in spirit. I help children, teens, and adults process trauma, regulate their nervous systems, and stop letting one intrusive thought ruin their entire week. Equal parts evidence-based practice and practicality (drink water, get enough rest, and do something that brings you joy).

Outside of therapy, I’m a pet parent, artist, recovering perfectionist, and emotionally attached to tortoises.

My goal? Helping people heal without losing the parts of themselves that make them human. Also maybe convincing at least one client to unclench their jaw today.

Besides being a licensed clinical social worker and liensed clinical addictions counselor, I'm also recognized by the state of Indiana as a Certified Peer Support Professional and carry national certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I'm a Master Reiki Practitioner and certified as a sound healer and therapeutic art life coach. I take the business of healing and living seriously, but believe that we all need to honor our whimsy, creativity, and sense of childlike wonder.

My approach to therapy

Specialties include:

  • Trauma & PTSD
  • Addiction recovery
  • Neurodivergent chaos management
  • Helping people identify feelings besides “fine”
  • Explaining the Window of Tolerance approximately 47 different ways until it clicks
  • Turning Uno, Jenga, crafts, and random metaphors into therapeutic interventions somehow approved by licensing boards Therapy style: warm, direct, validating, occasionally unhinged in a clinically appropriate way. I will absolutely teach DBT skills while surrounded by cats, art supplies, and a nervous system regulation worksheet I designed at 2am.

Professional qualifications include:

✔ Licensed clinical therapist

✔ Trauma-Focused CBT nationally certified

✔ Certified to work with youth impacted by sexual harm

✔ Can write a clinical assessment and a Lisa Frank affirmation card with equal intensity

✔ Has probably said “that makes sense from a trauma perspective” at least 12 times today

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be spent discussing what brought you to therapy and who you are outside of your mental health conditions, if you know. If not, we'll discover that together.
