Great to meet you!

I became a therapist in 2013 after working in the business world for over 15 years. Anxiety and mental illness run in my family, and when I began experiencing my own anxiety, I wanted to learn as much about it as I could. I never knew that would lead me to a career many years later helping others overcome their mental health struggles.

My approach to therapy

My style is very conversational and direct. I am an eclectic therapist, meaning that I use multiple modalities of treatment including, but not limited to CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and solution focused therapy.

What you can expect from me

I help clients to better understand their life in the context of their mental health and their past. I work with clients to bring awareness to any patterns that may becausing them difficulty in their lives. Change begins with awareness, and helping clients build this awareness is an important first step. I provide ideas for concrete implementable changes that clients can make in their lives, and I act as a non-judgemental, compassionate listener.
