Great to meet you!

Within my clinical background, I have always focused on a humanistic and holistic perspective of care for the betterment of others. Since studying psychology-mental health counseling at Drexel University (2003) and Boston University (2006), the concepts of "congruence", "self-actualization", and the "mind-body connection" has spoken to and informed my professional practices.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My focus as a counselor has always been about developing rapport and building an understanding of who you are as a person. Aspects of culture, personal development, and life experiences are important to learn about each person I help, as we all come from different backgrounds and different experiences that can shape and enhance the process of your therapy. Thereafter, exploring what brought you to therapy, implementing areas of change, and building consistency will be explored.

What you can expect from our first session

This is your process and there is no "right" or "wrong" way of moving. What is important for you, is what is important for me. I will listen, support, and assist in your growth.
