Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I'm Daniel DiSalvo, and have been a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner for the past 22 years. I completed all of my schooling and training at The Ohio State University. I have worked in a variety of psychiatric settings, including inpatient, outpatient, correctional system, education/teaching, community mental health center, private practice, as well as offering telehealth services for the past five years. I specialize in adult psychiatry, providing medication management and brief counseling. I look forward to helping you with your mental health needs!

My approach to therapy

When seeing a patient, I individualize their care and provide treatment specific to their needs. I'm extremely compassionate, but am also direct and focus on solution-based treatment, helping each of my patients improve in their personal and professional lives. I love helping patients and appreciate their growth while in treatment.

What you can expect from me

During our first appointment, I will be reviewing your overall history, including psychiatric, medical, social, as well as other aspects. This will be a lengthy session, whereas later sessions will be shorter. After the first appointment, a diagnosis(es) will be ascribed and medication treatment options discussed and initiated (if warranted). Involving patients in treatment decisions is very important to me.
