Great to meet you!

I am licensed in Texas and bring over 11 years of professional counseling experience, along with a lifetime of lived experience that helps me connect with people in a real and grounded way. I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, addiction, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, moral injury, trauma, abuse, grief, loss, and major life challenges. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward after carrying pain for a long time. I believe every person deserves respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I tailor treatment to your unique needs rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and peaceful life takes courage, and I am here to support you in that process.

My approach to therapy

I am not your everyday, run-of-the-mill therapist. I think outside the box, ask thoughtful questions, and help clients connect the dots in ways that feel honest and useful. I draw from a strong person-centered foundation, which means you are the expert on you. My role is to help you explore your options, better understand your patterns, and find practical ways forward. I work with clients facing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, addiction, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, grief, loss, and moral injury, and I approach this work with directness, compassion, and respect. I do not believe in giving empty advice or talking just to fill space. I believe in real conversations, clear goals, and helping you build on your strengths, resilience, and ability to make meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my priority is to build rapport, trust, and confidence so we start off on solid ground. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope will be different moving forward. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, addiction, grief, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, stress, or loss, I want to understand your experience and what kind of support would be most helpful. By the second meeting, we will begin setting goals, building a treatment plan together, and introducing practical coping skills you can start using right away. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and more hopeful about the path ahead.
