Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and began my clinical work in acute care settings, supporting individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges. That early experience gave me a strong foundation in helping people navigate the complex ways mental health can affect different parts of life such as relationships, work, and personal well being.

Over time, my clinical focus has shifted toward working with professionals who come from legal, health care, and educational settings. I recognize that many professionals become skilled at functioning under stress silently with anxiety, self-doubt, desires for perfectionism, and fatigue. My work is not limited to career professionals, I also support individuals struggling with anxiety across different areas of life, including work, relationships, major life transitions, and daily stressors. The focus is to help you better understand what you are carrying and develop practical ways to feel more present, and in control.

My approach to therapy

In my practice I primarily employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, integrating elements of Rogerian person centered, and Jungian psychodynamic approaches. My therapeutic style is structured and analytical, emphasizing the process of collaborating with individuals to break down their problems into smaller and more tangible experiences. I firmly believe in the philosophy that acknowledging and confronting life suffering while simultaneously taking small steps are the catalyst for change. I am here to work in collaboration with you towards overcoming obstacles and achieve positive change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on completing a thorough assessment so I can better understand your current concerns that bring you to therapy, history, and strengths. This session may feel more structured, as I want to gather enough information to understand the bigger picture so that our work together can be intentional, and focused on your needs. As we continue working together, sessions will become more personal and collaborative, with space to slow down to explore your experiences more deeply, and focus on the areas that matter most to you.
