Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Dan. I bring a deeply personal understanding to mental health care. Having witnessed family members and fellow veterans navigate their own struggles, I know firsthand how isolating and disorienting it can feel to need support. I approach every session with the patience, attentiveness, and genuine care I would offer someone I love — listening not just to your words, but to what you're truly trying to communicate. My commitment is to always be as honest with you as possible, because I believe real help requires real honesty. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors.

My approach to therapy

I approach every session as I would a conversation with a family member — with patience, deep listening, and sincere empathy. My goal is not just to hear what you're saying, but to understand what you mean. I create a space where clients feel safe being open, and I hold myself to the same standard of honesty I ask of them. I believe that feeling truly understood is often the first step toward healing.

What you can expect from me

Many of my clients come in feeling lost, unworthy, and without a clear sense of direction — unsure of where to even begin. In our first session, you can expect a genuine conversation, not a clinical checklist. I'll take time to listen carefully and ask questions that help me understand your full experience. My goal is simple: for you to leave feeling truly heard and a little less alone in what you're carrying.
