Daniel Huvard

I specialize in working with men ages 20-45. I GET it, therapy is hard and scary. There is no way around that. I have been in your shoes. What changed my life was finally committing to myself and my happiness. I have been a practicing therapist for over 5 years. I love nothing more than helping my clients learn more about themselves and how they manage and process life around them. I work best with clients who are committed to the therapy process even though it can be difficult.

I like to describe myself as an open, honest, inquisitive and reflective therapist. I mostly working within a psychodynamic framework. This means I will spend time getting to know you and your story and take a dive into all the experiences that make you who you are. I firmly believe that our early life experiences shape who we become.

My first step is always to start by building trust. I know that therapy cannot be successful without this first step. I won't bullshit you and I won't be just another "bobbing head". I am here to help you. I want my clients to know that the work they put in with me will directly impact their life outside of therapy sessions.
