Great to meet you!

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. I earned my BS in Psychology from the University of Florida and my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. For the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping adults work through anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship stress, family issues, grief, men’s issues, trauma, anger, chronic stress, and major life transitions. I care deeply about making therapy feel useful, honest, and connected to real life. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel less stuck, and move toward the kind of life and relationships you want to build.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and solution-focused. I believe therapy should help you leave with more clarity, insight, and tools you can actually use outside of session. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Narrative Therapy, while tailoring our work to your goals, personality, and pace. I’ll be honest, engaged, and fully present with you. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful change that feels realistic and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult, and what you hope will be different moving forward. My style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. I won’t overwhelm you with endless assessments or make therapy feel more complicated than it needs to be. You can expect a conversation that feels focused, respectful, and human. We’ll begin identifying what you want to work on and how therapy can support you in getting there. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and clear about the next step.
