Great to meet you!

I am a passionate therapist dedicated to fostering personal growth and self-discovery through a cilent-centered approach to therapy. My journey in the therapeutic field has been guided by the belief that every individual possesses inherent worth and the potential for change. Throughout my career, I have embraced the principles of humanism, which emphasizes the importance of viewing clients as unique individuals with their own experiences and insights. I believe that each person is the expert of their own life, and my role is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. In my practice, I ensure that every session is tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of the individual. I strive to practice empathy and active listening, validating each client’s experiences and fostering a collaborative relationship. By understanding their unique perspectives, I can better support them in navigating challenges and working toward their aspirations. My goal is to empower individuals to embark on a journey of self-exploration and personal transformation, helping them to realize their potential and lead fulfilling lives. Through my work, I aim to create a space where healing and growth can flourish, and I am honored to be a part of each client’s journey.

My approach to therapy

As a dedicated mental health professional with a Master’s degree in Social Work from UMass Global, I specialize in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My approach focuses on empowering clients to navigate their emotional and psychological challenges through evidence-based techniques. In my professional journey, I have worked extensively with both working professionals and underserved populations, providing compassionate and effective support to help individuals process trauma and improve their overall well-being. I am committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful change in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients who engage in therapy sessions with me can expect to gain valuable awareness and insight to better manage their mental health and the environment around them by learning to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills, as well as enhanced motivation to make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Additionally, clients will learn valuable coping strategies to manage stress and improve sleep quality. This integrative approach fosters self-awareness and personal growth, encouraging clients to explore their feelings and values in a supportive environment. Ultimately, clients can take away a greater sense of empowerment and tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence.
