I’m Daniel Leal, LPC, owner of Next Level Counseling PLLC in Lubbock. I work with adults, teens, and children who feel stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated, constantly overthinking, or like they have lost control of their lives. I specialize in anxiety, depression, anger, negative thinking patterns, relationship difficulties, boundary issues, and situations where people feel taken advantage of, manipulated, or unable to stand up for them.

Therapy doesn't have to feel like traditional therapy. My office is intentionally comfortable relaxed, & different from the typical clinical environment. For some clients, therapy means sitting down and talking. For others, it might mean shooting a game of pool while we work through what's going on. Sometimes having something to do makes it easier to open up.

My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in CBT, with DBT, Solution-Focused, & Person-Centered strategies when appropriate. Sessions are collaborative, practical, & tailored to you. I tend to work especially well with people looking for a counselor who is straightforward, down-to-earth, easy to talk to, & focused on tools you can actually use day-to-day.
