Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a background in depth psychology, relational work, and evidence-based therapy. I work with adults who are thoughtful, self-aware, and often exhausted by patterns they understand intellectually but still feel stuck inside. Many of my clients are dealing with anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, identity confusion, or long-standing emotional patterns rooted in early family dynamics.

I don’t see people as broken or in need of fixing. I see symptoms as signals—expressions of systems, histories, and adaptations that once made sense and may no longer serve you. My role is not to rescue or reassure, but to help you understand what is actually happening in your inner world so you can respond to it with clarity rather than reactivity.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and grounded. I draw from psychodynamic and Jungian-informed therapy to explore unconscious patterns, attachment dynamics, and identity formation, while also using cognitive-behavioral and skills-based tools when they are genuinely useful. Therapy with me is both reflective and practical: we examine meaning, emotion, and history, but we also stay anchored in how these patterns show up in your day-to-day life.

I value honesty over comfort and insight over quick relief. I won’t over-pathologize your experience, but I also won’t sugarcoat what needs to be looked at. Therapy is a collaborative process—curious, structured, and respectful of your intelligence and autonomy.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about orientation, not performance. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve tried before, and what feels most pressing right now. I’ll ask questions to understand how you think, relate, and cope under pressure. You won’t be pushed to disclose anything before you’re ready, and there’s no expectation to “have it all figured out.”

You can expect a calm, focused conversation that helps clarify what you’re dealing with and whether working together makes sense. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer understanding of how I work, how therapy might help, and what direction we’d take if we continue.
