Dr. Daniel Mauer

My name is Dr. Dan Mauer and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist living in Pompano Beach Florida. I received my PhD from Alliant University in Fresno California. I specialize in the treatment of adolescents and adults who suffer from a variety of behavioral, developmental and emotional disorders, including anxiety, depression, dysfunctional family systems, interpersonal problems, stress, post-traumatic stress and any difficulties adjusting to life transitions.

I have worked in both community mental health centers and in private practice for over 25 years and have a diverse background in terms of my education, life experience and professional life as a Psychologist. In addition to providing advocacy and consultation with community agencies and support systems I have had the honor of being an Artists Assistant for over 20 years.

I am currently accepting new patients and will gladly schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good match/fit for your needs.

I provide Individual & Family Telehealth primarily utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral & Strength based approach. I support the use of alternative, adjunctive and supplemental treatment modalities. In addition i help my clients by exploring, learning and teaching them various ways to cope with their life struggles.

I always start with an initial session in which to explore your story and the reasons you are seeking help at this point in your life journey.
