Great to meet you!

My name is Daniel Pastore, and I am dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate the challenges that come with living in an exciting, but often stressful, world. I have experience supporting individuals facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, addiction, anger management, life transitions, sexual concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I strive to be genuine and to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel like they can truly be themselves and feel heard, understood, and supported. My approach focuses on meeting individuals where they are at, collaborating with clients and listening to their needs, and overall empowering individuals to grow, build resilience, and work towards feeling more confident in navigating life's challenges and creating a life that feels fulfilling and authentic.

My approach to therapy

My approach involves meeting every person where they are. I want to focus on what matters most to you so that our work together can truly meet your individual needs. In session, I do my best to create a safe and comfortable space where we can talk freely, while also introducing evidence-based strategies and tools that can support you in reaching your goals.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and a Person-Centered approach, tailoring my work to each individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I have worked with a variety of populations and have experience in areas including addiction treatment, anxiety disorders, men’s issues, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I am also happy to discuss my experience in other areas and answer any questions you may have about whether we might be a good fit.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a low-pressure, safe, and welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable sharing openly and honestly. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and begin exploring potential areas of focus for future sessions so we can work toward getting you where you want to be. As we talk about your goals for the future, don’t stress about having it all figured out, it’s okay to be unsure! Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to better understand your needs, identify what’s important to you, and figure out what works best for you along the way.
