Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist in CA and CO with 39 years experience. I provide internet-based therapy for privacy, flexibility and convenience. I believe in providing unwavering support & kindness, along with proven therapy techniques, to address your concerns and help you live the life you deserve!

We all need support in life! Sometimes we are in pain & need relief. Or we are not in a place in our lives where we would like. We struggle with problems and need to find answers. Sometimes, it may be better to talk with someone caring but objective; someone who has expertise in helping and is not currently in your life. I have decades of experience helping clients with stress, depression, anxiety, lgbtq+ related issues, relationship concerns, life changes, motivation, self-esteem, self-confidence & people and their families struggling with dementia. I have worked with a broad range of ages: from adolescents and young adults to older individuals. I would honored to be a part of your journey!

My approach to therapy

I tailor your treatment to meet your unique and specific needs. I am Person-Centered. That means I believe that all people are good, but we sometimes lose our way and we may experience problems that are difficult to solve on our own. I use treatments specific to your needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral & Insight-Oriented Therapies. We will explore what brings you to therapy and your goals and needs and then decide the best way to help you make progress.

What you can expect from me

In our initial sessions, we will explore, in depth, what brings you to therapy. We will clarify what your goals are, what you want to be different in your life, and then decide the best way to help you make progress. You can expect to actually be heard, listened to and understood. You can expect to feel support and care. But you will not expect to be judged, shamed, or put down for struggling. During treatment, you will experience support, get insight into your problems & we will develop and implement strategies to address your concerns. Most people begin to see improvements within the first month of treatment and then continue to feel better and better!
