Great to meet you!

Our daily lives can be stressful enough. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or unresolved grief, the daily stress is intensified. My job is to help reinforce you are human and trying to survive while taking care of your responsibilities...However, what if there is another way of viewing the challenges of life, of viewing yourself, while pushing through struggle to develop hope, strength and coping skills? If you desire to learn skills, that can help you on your journey to better manage anxiety and persevere to overcome depression and life challenges, I would graciously look forward to help you on this path!

My approach to therapy

I have experience with CBT, ACT, MI and mindfulness. My approach is work with a client to understand and validate the difficulty of their experience creating a safe environment to express emotions & needs. I emphasize awareness of what emotions communicate as well as the thoughts that are associated with them with the combination influencing behavior.

What you can expect from me

A first session would consist of getting to know a little bit of your history. How your life has been affected, what you would like to change and how you will know you are feeling and doing better. From the initial session, we can form a client agreed upon therapy plan that forms the basis of working together to find solutions to life challenges :)
