Great to meet you!
When I began practicing psychotherapy I wondered if I would really be able to help people. Those clients who asked me for advice and shared their stories with me. I started only with three things, they were training at a good college, being a good and patient listener, and an abiding gratitude for those who had helped me, sometimes friends, and sometimes strangers.
Since then, I have counseled people experiencing symptoms related to unresolved childhood and family issues, marital or relationship distress or ambivalence, job or vocational issues, life transitions including mid-life crisis, meaning of life, personal change and adjustment, and trauma including symptoms related to PTSD.
I take exceptional care in listening and understanding relationships. I take a non-judgmental therapeutic stance with a general goal of enhancing one's capacity to cope with change and to enhance personal and professional relationships and psycho-social adjustment.
