Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years experience in the behavioral health field. I have worked with individuals & families of all ages & backgrounds, in a variety of clinical settings. My goal is to help people overcome challenges and assist in making therapy beneficial for those who seek it. I encourage people I work with in therapy to take an active role in their treatment process. My treatment approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral in nature helping a person reframe thoughts and understand how thought affects action. This process involves assessing an individual's readiness to consider change and finding new approaches to alleviate issues. I am empathetic and understand we all come from different backgrounds with different life experiences, which will often impact the approaches a particular person needs in therapy.

My approach to therapy

Primarily cognitive behavioral therapy with motivational interview
