Great to meet you!

Growing up in a military family and relocating across both coasts by age ten taught Daniel the art of adaptation and the value of an open mind—skills that have become the cornerstone of his personal and professional life. After more than a decade in the corporate world serving in management and consulting, Daniel sought a deeper purpose. Today, he finds his fulfillment in helping clients navigate their own crossroads and unexpected challenges.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Daniel specializes in supporting teens managing ADHD and behavioral concerns, as well as adults and young professionals seeking clarity in their personal, professional, or spiritual lives. He also works extensively with those navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and OCD. By utilizing a blend of CBT, EMDR, and Person-Centered Therapy, Daniel creates a judgment-free space where you can identify your core strengths and strategize a meaningful path forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in the belief that while life is often unpredictable, you already possess unique strengths and values that can guide you through it. I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative partnership where we move beyond just "talking about problems" to actively strategizing a path forward. Depending on your specific needs, I utilize several specialized modalities:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A powerful tool for processing trauma and overcoming deeply held negative beliefs.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help you identify and reshape the thought patterns that influence your emotions and behaviors.
  • Person-Centered Therapy: Ensuring that you are the expert on your own life, with my role being to provide the support and environment necessary for growth.
  • Solutions-Based Therapy: A focused approach to identifying what is working in your life and building on those successes to reach your objectives.

What you can expect from me

In our first time together, my priority is to create a safe place for you to land—a space where you feel truly heard and met without any judgment. We’ll take a look at what’s weighing on you right now, whether that’s a difficult transition, a struggle with anxiety, or navigating the complexities of ADHD. Together, we’ll start to uncover the natural strengths and values you already carry, using them to map out a path forward that feels manageable and hopeful. You don’t have to have all the answers right away; we’ll work side-by-side to find the tools that best support your unique journey.
