Great to meet you!

Hi all! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with five years of experience in the field, working with clients of all ages across the lifespan. I have worked in schools, home health settings, and community-based mental health spaces. I have experience working with veterans and first-generation young adults, as well as individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I am fluent in Spanish and provide services in English, Spanish, or a little mix of both, which we call Spanglish. I like to use a supportive, open-minded, and person-centered approach to therapy. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, sharing their experiences without judgment, and working collaboratively toward their personal goals. I strive to meet each client where they are and recognize that every person's journey is unique. I especially enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, navigate challenging seasons of life, and develop tools that allow them to feel more confident and empowered moving forward.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, expect it to feel low-stakes and welcoming. We are meeting for the first time to see if we would be a good fit. I want everyone to feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We will go over 'rules and expectations,' and you will have a space to ask questions about the therapy process.
