Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a Latina, bilingual therapist based in Denver, CO passionate about trauma-informed care. I was born and raised on the border in El Paso, Texas. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver following an academic career at Johns Hopkins where I majored in psychology and public health and received a Master of Health Science in Public Health.

I have worked at various levels of care (outpatient, IOP, and PHP) and have experience with several populations including: Latinx, unhoused youth, and youth experiencing first episode psychosis.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and systems-oriented in a way that remains grounded and steady. While I place high value in autonomy and trust, I don’t shy away from gently challenging you. Together we can explore patterns, strengthen your sense of self, and explore the narrative of what makes you “you”. Whether you’re in search of practical skills or deeper exploration of your inner world, I’m passionate about meeting you exactly where you are.

If this resonates, you’ve found the right place.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on building our therapeutic connection through a combination of intake questions and curious exploration. I like to keep a relaxed environment and trust that you are your best historian. Our first session is also a valuable opportunity for you to get to know me and whether we jive together. Don't hesitate to ask any questions! By the end, my goal is for you to feel comfortable and like you know where therapy is "going".
