Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a background in forensic psychology and social work. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health, substance abuse treatment, an HIV clinic, and the criminal justice system. My experience has allowed me to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, facing a wide range of challenges.

I specialize in working with adolescents and individuals struggling with substance use disorders. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping individuals build coping skills, resilience, and healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. Whether you're navigating life transitions, mental health concerns, or substance use challenges, my goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on empowerment, support, and unconditional acceptance. I recognize that therapy is a vulnerable process, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I believe in meeting clients where they are, tailoring my approach to their unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey, so I integrate various therapeutic modalities to best support my clients in navigating life’s complexities. Whether addressing trauma, substance use, life transitions, or mental health challenges, I work collaboratively to help clients find meaning, resilience, and personal growth. My goal is to guide and support clients in developing the tools they need to foster lasting change and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences—especially those they may have felt unable to share before. My goal is to help clients uncover their own inner strength and resilience, guiding them toward self-discovery and healing.

Through our work together, I hope clients gain deeper self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence in navigating life’s challenges. I strive to empower clients to find answers within themselves and foster lasting personal growth. Whether processing difficult emotions, working through past experiences, or building new skills, my aim is for clients to leave each session feeling heard, validated, and equipped to move forward.
