Great to meet you!

I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker because I'm passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults through challenges related to culture, faith, identity, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, major life transitions, grief, loss, hopelessness, thoughts of suicide, addiction recovery, trauma, the effects of shame and negative self-beliefs.

I'm also drawn to assisting couples and families in strengthening relationships, improving communication, building healthier boundaries, and enhancing parenting skills.

My approach to therapy

I've had the privilege of gaining experience in school-based mental health, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and with veterans/active-duty service members.

EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution/Emotion Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy are the modalities that most strongly guide my approach.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, I focus on getting to know you and understanding what feels most important for you to share. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, and valued. I also cover practical aspects like confidentiality, session structure, and answer any question you may have so you know what to expect moving forward. Together, we explore your strengths, challenges, and priorities, and begin setting meaningful goals to guide our work. From the start, I strive to make sessions collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
