Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m a social work therapist, and I truly love what I do. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. I bring an open mind, a sense of humor, and a down-to-earth approach to sessions so clients can feel comfortable being their authentic selves.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, family issues, stress, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, depression, anger management concerns, and relationship or behavioral challenges. Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child, a teen working through difficult emotions, or an adult feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my goal is to create a warm and supportive space where you feel understood and empowered. I’m a UCF master’s graduate, and I also earned a children’s services certificate during my studies, which continues to shape my work with children and families.

My approach to therapy

I love helping clients figure out different solutions to the concerns they bring into session, and I am always thinking about ways to make life feel more manageable. My approach is warm, creative, and collaborative, and I tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals.

I draw from Relational Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Strength-Based approaches. Depending on what is most helpful, our work may focus on understanding emotions, building coping skills, strengthening relationships, improving communication, reducing stress, processing trauma, or finding healthier ways to respond to challenges at home, school, or in daily life. My goal is to help clients feel supported while also making steady, meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

The first session is usually a time to talk about expectations for therapy, review confidentiality, and get to know one another. It is also an opportunity for you to share what is bringing you in, what concerns feel most important right now, and what you hope to get out of therapy.

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where we work together at a pace that feels comfortable. I want clients to feel safe being themselves while also knowing that therapy can be a place for growth, healing, and practical change. Over time, our work may help you or your family build stronger coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.
