Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Daniella, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master's in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University in Nashville in 2012. I've worked with women and children in several settings and have been in private practice since 2015. I work with women experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma or other women's issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use person-centered, cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and internal family systems (IFS) therapies with my clients. These approaches allow you to change unhelpful thoughts and reconcile important aspects of your personality. I am certified in EMDR, a powerful tool for processing unpleasant experiences and inciting growth.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients want to change how they feel and how they react. They want their days and their relationships to look different. I believe the strongest tool we have is our therapeutic relationship, characterized by trust, understanding and empathy. Our time together will be comfortable and conversational. I'll also guide you through tools and techniques that have been shown to effect change.
