Great to meet you!

Shopping for a therapist is hard. All the profiles blend together, photos mean more than we’d like to admit, and buzzwords abound. I’m not the right fit for everyone, but I am for some folks.

What I can say is that I couldn't have guessed that becoming a therapist would be the best way to work with the scared and perfectionistic parts of myself; I'm so glad I took this path.

I'm a lover of people and their stories, a mountain adventurer, and a deep ecologist. My background (and constant side projects) are in land conservation and non-profit leadership. I chose to study social work because it takes a systemic approach and focuses on social justice. Crested Butte, CO has been my home since 2007.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Sexology, and Interpersonal Neurobiology. I weave in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and somatic modalities to join mind, body, heart and soul. I'm also passionate about the numinous possibilities of psychedelics. I’m sex-positive, kink-allied, and knowledgeable about non-traditional relationship structures. I see cultural context and intersectional identities as key to understanding you and your therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

Connection. Feeling connected is a sign of attunement and safety, which are essential for exploring your internal world together.

Please send me a message at [email protected], call me or text me at 970-403-5999 to schedule a free consult.
