Great to meet you!

Think of me as a calm, supportive co-pilot—warm, down-to-earth, and here to help you sort through the mental tabs you’ve got open. I’ll meet you where you are, bring a steady vibe, and sprinkle in humor when it fits (because sometimes a small laugh is part of the coping skill). You can expect a mix of practical tools for real life and deeper work when you’re ready, all at a pace that feels comfortable. No judgment, no “too much”—just a space where you can show up as you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical—built for the young adult season of life, where everything can feel like it’s happening at once. We’ll start by getting clear on what’s weighing on you (anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, family dynamics, confidence, transitions, or “I don’t even know, I’m just overwhelmed”). Then we’ll build tools you can actually use between sessions—grounding skills, emotion regulation, boundaries that don’t come with a guilt hangover, and a kinder inner voice that isn’t running your life.

I’m trauma-informed, so we’ll pay attention to your nervous system and move at a pace that feels safe. When you’re ready, we’ll also look at the deeper patterns underneath it all—so you’re not stuck repeating the same stressful chapter. If it’s a good fit, I may incorporate evidence-based approaches like EMDR to help reduce the intensity of past experiences and support lasting change. You don’t need to have it all figured out to start—just show up, and we’ll take it step by step.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, expect a warm, low-pressure vibe—no pop quizzes, no “tell me your entire life story in 50 minutes.” We’ll start with what’s bringing you in right now, what’s been feeling heavy, and what you want to be different (less anxious, less burnt out, more steady, more you).

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to help us connect the dots, but you’re in control of the pace—sharing can be a slow unpeeling, not a rapid-fire confession. We’ll also pick a couple of practical tools you can use right away, especially if your nervous system has been running on iced coffee and pure adrenaline.

By the end, we’ll have a clear “okay, here’s the plan” for what we’re working on and what next steps look like—so you leave feeling more grounded, not emotionally drop-kicked.
