Great to meet you!

I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. While evidence-based practices provide important tools for change, I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is the foundation for growth and healing. My goal is to provide a compassionate, collaborative space where clients can build insight, develop practical skills, and create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create lasting change. My goal is to meet clients where they are and support them in achieving greater healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what you’re currently struggling with, your history, and what you hope to gain from therapy, but there is no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.

My priority is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable and heard. Many clients use the first session to begin making sense of what they’re experiencing and to start identifying goals for our work together. We will also talk about how therapy works, what you can expect from me, and answer any questions you may have about the process.

You can expect a collaborative approach where we begin building trust and outlining a direction for treatment at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, understood, and clearer about next steps.
