Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than five years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and groups. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and have worked with diverse populations across various treatment settings.

My clinical experience includes working with adults and children facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including severe and persistent mental illnesses, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and co-occurring mental health disorders. I am committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care and creating a supportive environment where individuals can explore challenges, build resilience, and work toward meaningful personal growth and recovery.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is direct, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I use a solution-focused, person-centered, and strengths-based framework to help clients identify practical strategies for overcoming challenges while building on their existing abilities and resilience. I believe that each individual is the expert in their own life, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we work to identify meaningful goals, develop effective coping skills, and foster lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. Together, we will explore your strengths, challenges, and areas where you would like to see growth or change. We will identify your goals for therapy and discuss what you hope to achieve through the therapeutic process.

We will also review strategies and coping skills you have used in the past, exploring what has been effective and what may not have worked as well. This helps us develop a personalized treatment approach that builds on your strengths and focuses on practical solutions. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and working toward meaningful progress.
