Great to meet you!

I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and have extensive training and experience utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches that are collaborative, individualized, and responsive to each client. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, ADHD, OCD, and supporting parents in feeling more confident in their parenting. I draw on years of formal training and clinical practice to help kids, teens, and adults overcome challenges and life transitions through compassionate, personalized care. I look forward to working with you!

My approach to therapy

I seek to empower kids, teens, and adults by providing the tools and support they need to feel more successful in their day-to-day lives and more hopeful about the future. I help clients better understand how their thoughts influence their feelings and behaviors through CBT. I help clients learn to identify unhelpful thoughts, shift thinking patterns, practice problem-solving, and engage in behaviors that improve mood and decrease anxiety. I strive to make therapy engaging, supportive, and collaborative.

What you can expect from me

During the initial session, I will spend time to obtain a comprehensive history and begin to assess past and current symptoms, strengths and weaknesses. I fully understand how hard it is to start therapy - it is so brave to share with a complete stranger the ways in which you feel like things are not going well. I strive during the initial session to make clients feel comfortable and more hopeful about the work that we will be doing together. Following appointments will provide involve psychoeducation and collaborative goal setting.
