Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 8 years of experience as a therapist. I chose this path because I genuinely enjoy helping people who feel weighed down by worry or overwhelmed by their own responsibilities. My clients tend to describe me as warm, non judegemental, and easy to talk to. I do not believe therapy should feel stiff or overly clinical. I specialize in helping others manage anxiety, set boundaries, and step back from the caretaker role when it has become draining. I bring honesty and compassion to every session, and I will always respect your time and your story. I do not have all the answers, but I will show up ready to work alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in practical change. I draw from evidence based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy while also looking at your existing strengths. We will explore how your thoughts feed your anxiety and get in the way of the boundaries you want to set. At the same time, we will identify what is already working for you and build from there. I give concrete tools you can apply between sessions, such as how to handle a difficult conversation or use affirmations that actually feel natural to you. I am engaged in our work together, which means I ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, and gently push back when I notice patterns that keep you stuck. Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel safe to be fully yourself.

What you can expect from me

I know that talking to a therapist for the first time can feel awkward or intimidating. My goal is to take the pressure off. We will spend the session getting to know each other. I will ask about what brought you in, what your typical week looks like, and what you have already tried on your own. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. There is no expectation to dive into heavy things right away. By the end of our time together, we will talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and map out a loose direction for our sessions. I will also give you space to ask me anything about how I work. Most people tell me they walk out feeling a bit lighter just from having said everything out loud in a space that feels judgment free.
