Great to meet you!

I have over 8 1/2 years of experience helping adults, children, and families learn how to heal and grow from dysfunction, trauma, addiction, and mental health issues of all kinds. I have worked with people from ages 3-80 years old so I have a multitude of experiences with all kinds of mental health issues including (trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, LGBTQIA+ related issues, and more). I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who has worked in community mental health and online.

My approach to therapy

I am a person-centered therapist who believes you know yourself better than anyone does. I develop a therapeutic alliance by showing empathy, compassion, and a belief that building trust is vital to our work together. I utilize an eclectic approach of evidence-based treatment interventions such as (cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, mindfulness, psychodynamic and more) that are tailored to you and your unique needs. I look at how your past impacts your present.

What you can expect from me

When we work together I like to hear your story and what the roots to your issues are in your present life. Often our difficulties in life began in our childhood where limiting beliefs began to take root. I am non-pathologizing in my approach to better understanding what happened to you. You will learn self-compassion, mindfulness, and coping tools to rewire your brain and find the path to peace.
