Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Danielle! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education and the nonprofit sector, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who experienced behavioral challenges. These experiences strengthened my ability to meet each client where they are in their unique journey toward healing, growth, and personal development.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. I recognize that everyone’s experiences, challenges, and goals are unique, and I believe therapy should reflect each individual’s needs, strengths, and personal journey. Together, we will work collaboratively to build on existing strengths, navigate challenges, and develop practical coping strategies in order to foster meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to meet each client where they are and support them in moving toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Being vulnerable can be scary. The first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you, explain the therapeutic process and understand what your goals are.
