Great to meet you!

I am grounded in the belief that the creative process itself can be healing, offering a non-verbal outlet for insight, emotional release, and personal growth. I received my Masters in Clinical Art Therapy from C.W. Post University and studied the behavior of children through the elder stage of life. I have used my professional experience to write a children's book to give children the emotional vocabulary to help them express their feelings.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I meet each client where they are and trust that they hold the insight needed for their own growth and healing. I create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you set the pace and direction of our work together. Within this framework, I incorporate art therapy, inviting sessions that may involve painting, drawing, sculpting, collage, or other visual media. My approach helps you express feelings that are hard to put into words, build self-awareness, manage stress and anxiety, and work through difficult life experiences at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. There's no pressure to have everything figured out—we'll take it one step at a time. I'll ask questions to get a fuller picture of your life and history. We will discuss goals and what your support system looks like. While every client's path looks different, common outcomes I work toward with clients include developing healthier coping strategies, building greater self-awareness and emotional regulation, improving communication and relationships, and finding new, non-verbal ways to process difficult emotions or experiences. Together, we'll define what progress looks like for you specifically, and revisit those goals as our work evolves.
