Greetings! My name is Danielle and I'm glad you're here. I am deeply passionate about building connection and community and believe that healing begins with feeling heard and accepted as our authentic self. I am confident that we all have the strengths within us to overcome adversity and reach our goals. My hope is to assist my clients in working to identify these strengths while deepening their level of understanding of themselves, their values, and their goals.
I gravitate towards person-centered, humanistic approaches and have specific training working with trauma, depression, and anxiety in addition to play therapy and Theraplay. I've primarily worked with children and adolescents in recent years but continue to work with adults through private practice and have past experience working with folks of various ages and backgrounds. I often incorporate trauma-informed, queer, and neurodivergent-affirming practices with clients. I often utilize play, DBT, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches in my work. I also love to incorporate art as a means of emotional expression.
My hope is for my clients feel welcomed and celebrated as their genuine selves. I aspire for my clients to feel safe and understood in the therapeutic space. I strive to facilitate a healthy dynamic where no topic is off limits. I also highly value collaborative, strengths-based care. I hope those that I work with feel that they are strengthening their relationship and trust in themselves while building capacity to make the changes in their lives that they wish to see.
