Great to meet you!

Life gets really hard at times, but we weren't meant to walk through it alone! I practice with the principles of empathy, patience, compassion, authenticity, humor, and creativity. I prioritize clear, calm, open communication to create a supportive, trusting, empathetic, and confidential space where you feel heard, valued, and safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgement.

My approach to therapy

I believe in your inherent strength and wisdom to face challenges, and my role is to support you in harnessing these qualities with compassion and respect. My counseling approach utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT, IFS, IPNB, PVT, person-centered, trauma-focused, somatic, mindfulness-based, attachment, and creative arts therapies, tailoring them to fit your individual needs and preferences. I work with clients navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, grief, and self-esteem challenges. Together, we’ll build coping skills and create a personalized plan for growth and resilience that feels empowering, achievable, and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a partnership, and we will work to identify not only your personal and therapeutic goals, but your "stuck" points, obstacles, barriers, resources, and strengths to help get you there. Our work will enable you to make meaningful connections, gain clarity, develop new insights, and empower you to move toward where you want to be-thriving! My journey into therapy began with a desire to help others find strength through life’s challenges. Working with trauma survivors showed me the power of therapy in healing and achieving post-traumatic growth and resilience. I believe that everyone has the innate capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful, lasting change. Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous - therapy is a process and we’ll move at your pace, one step at a time. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and to support you in achieving the goals, changes, healing, and growth you are seeking.
