Great to meet you!

My path has brought together counseling, wellness, fitness, and education, but the common thread has always been people. I care about understanding what we carry, how we navigate difficult seasons, and what helps us make changes that last.

Through my work in counseling and wellness, I have come to value both understanding what is underneath a struggle and finding practical ways forward. There is room for both in our work together. I want to know what has been hard, but also who you are beyond that—what matters to you, what gives you a sense of purpose, and what you want more of in your life.

You can expect me to be down-to-earth, involved, and honest. You do not need to impress me or have everything figured out. I want you to have a place where you can let your guard down and feel supported as a person, not just understood as a client.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe you deserve a space where you can feel heard without judgment, but also have honest conversations about what isn’t working and what you want to change.

We’ll work together to understand the patterns, experiences, and stressors affecting your life. Along the way, we’ll identify your strengths and build tools you can use outside of our sessions. I value the connection between mental and physical well-being while recognizing that taking care of yourself is not always as simple as knowing what to do.

I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll move at a pace that respects your needs. You can expect encouragement, thoughtful questions, and support that makes room for both self-acceptance and growth.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know the person behind the reason you reached out. What has been taking up the most space in your mind? What are you tired of carrying on your own? What do you wish someone understood?

You do not need to have those answers ready. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you put words to what you have been experiencing, even the parts that feel hard to explain.

We will talk about what you want to feel different, not just what has been going wrong. My hope is that you leave feeling understood, with a little more clarity and a sense of what we can work toward together.
