Danielle Hughes

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with adolescents and adults. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and intended to provide you with support in navigating your own human experience; whether that may be depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions/stressors, family conflict or relational issues, self-esteem, substance abuse, and/or mood dysregulation.

My work is rooted in a deep understanding of how our thoughts, emotions, and past experiences shape our present lives through emphasis of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-based skills, and psychodynamic principles. In session, you can anticipate a hybrid of process talk therapy and skill development based on your needs.

My goal is to help you uncover the strengths you already possess and to guide you in discovering new strategies to navigate life's challenges. However, I also believe that true growth often requires stepping out of your comfort zone. I will challenge you in thoughtful and constructive ways, encouraging you to confront difficult issues and helping you to develop resilience and self-awareness. I emphasize providing a non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely.
