Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Danielle Jacobs (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. I provide person-centered and relationship-based care to teens and adults navigating challenges like anxiety, identity, self-esteem, and complex trauma. I believe therapy should feel safe, empowering, and tailored to each person’s unique set of circumstances.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, creative, and deeply client-centered. I believe that meaningful growth happens within safe, supportive relationships, and I strive to build trust through compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. As an art therapist, I often incorporate creative expression into our work—especially when words fall short. I specialize in gender-affirming, trauma-informed care, and I tailor each session to meet clients exactly where they are. I also hold space for the complex realities of systemic oppression and other external forces that can shape and complicate mental health.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a space that feels affirming and nonjudgmental—where they can show up exactly as they are. Together, we’ll explore what healing looks like for you, whether that means building emotional regulation skills, deepening self-understanding, or processing past experiences. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and empowered with tools they can carry into everyday life.
